Air Dry
How can I slowly let the air dry clay dry?
I have a larger sculpture that I almost finished. I use air dry clay white and I am afraid that once I start to let it dry to crack. Ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to know about sanding softer. What kind of sand paper can be used again and again is whether the sand is the crack? Should I use hairspray or something similar? Must be sanded before or after shellac? I do not know if it that the shellac to say. I am hoping to find something like a matt varnish or something to really hold together. Thank you very much.
Try dry in a room with air conditioning. This will also dry with the same temperature everywhere. And do not let the fan blowing air directly his masterpiece. The sand can when it is completely dry.
