Suede Body
Is the skin we wear and use comes from cows that we eat?
The other day I was complaining about people dressed in exotic skins, when my sister said was wearing a suede coat. I remind him that the cows eat really, and if you eat an animal, we try use the body as well as possible. Now, I've done is think. Without doubt, we do not kill cows and with the leather and not of the flesh … We Carry / Use of leather do more harm to the cows that eating real meat? (And no, sorry, I could not give up meat).
The treatment of exotic animals before slaughter clothes are not necessarily worse than cattle and in many cases be better because care animals improves the quality of the layer. Most of the skins of cows is discarded. Just compare the meat consumption for the number of fur coats and shoes. Check with your local vegetarian or vegan or animal welfare organization. Better still, visit a slaughterhouse.
